Specification of LAPP Kabel Cable Solar Panel ÖLFLEX SOLAR XLWP
LAPP Kabel Cable Solar Panel ÖLFLEX SOLAR XLWP
Solar Panel Cable LAPP CABLE LFLEX SOLAR XLWP Solar panel cable
Benefit
Strong against mechanical impact, for example in the case of unprotected burial in a professionally constructed cable trench: Additional impact test per UL 854
Alternatives to water coverage, e.g. due to the height of the waterways caused by the flood
Reduction of the spread of fire and toxic combustion gases in the event of a fire
Extruded color stripe serves as reverse polarity protection during installation.
Precise quantity control during installation by meter marking on cable sheath
Application range
Photovoltaic system with DC system voltage up to 1800 V to ground
For cabling between solar modules and as extension cables between module strings and DC/AC inverters
Flexible or integrated PV systems with buildings
Underground use without conduit/protective ducts in professionally constructed cable trenches with at least 50 cm of backfill (70 cm below the road), on tape, on plastic cover plates, on at least 10 cm of overburden sand, on top of the cable laid on a 10 cm layer of sand (cf.: Section 4.2 VDE 0891-6, or Section 300.5 in Section 300 NFPA 70/ NEC – National Electrical Code of the USA)
As of September 2018 and based on the AD8 waterproofing and particularly the waterproof design, this product is recommended by Solartechnik Bayern for underground use which is usually realized via underground conduit/duct (…) for PV applications; Accumulation of contaminated water in underground drains/channels should be avoided
